Intro to Pastels and Abstract Painting (Ages 18+)

In this fun introduction to pastels students will create an abstract painting with an acrylic/fluid acrylic underpainting.  Pastels are forgiving, vibrant, and can be applied in a variety of methods.  Come explore the use of various color combinations and abstract shapes!  Use your imagination, experiment, with a variety of available materials, and play!  Step by step demonstrations will be given encouraging beginners to feel comfortable and confident.  All materials will be provided for a $20 supply fee to be paid directly to the instructor.
