    Join us this summer to explore the engaging history of our world, learn about famous artists, create themed art projects, play games and make memories with friends.


    JUN 10 – JULY 26 • Ages: 6-4

    Mini explorers half day camp offers children ages 4-6 years old the chance to engage in themed days filled with art, games, music, and a dress up day.

  • Fringe Fort Myers 2024

    Fringe Fort Myers 2024, presented by the Alliance for the Arts and Broadway Palm Dinner Theater May 30-June 2, is the newest Fringe theatre festival in Southwest Florida and maintains long-standing Fringe traditions of being 100% uncensored, 100% unjuried and 100% inclusive. Even better, 100% of ticket sales go directly to the artists.

    Fringe Fort Myers kicks off on May 30 with the fun and frenetic Flamingle Teaser Show with each performance group having three minutes to sell you on their show. How they do that is up to them! Over the next four days we will play host to 29 performances on three different stages between the Alliance for the Arts and Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre. After the final curtain, Fringe Fort Myers 2024 will host the Fringe awards ceremony celebrating the artists who make Fringe an incredible experience.

    The 14th annual Fort Myers Film Festival is back from May 22-26!
    On Friday, May 24, we’re thrilled to present two special matinee screenings starting at 1 PM. Don’t miss “The Unforgettable Block of Shorts” followed by the feature film “The Martini Shot” at 2:15.

    Opening Friday, May 3, 5-7 pm, this is event is free and open to the public

    The exhibition showcases the work of visual artists Linda Benson, Stacey Brown, Martha De La Cruz, Lily Hatchett, and Roland Ruocco. In addition, at 6:00 p.m. in the Alliance’s Foulds Theatre, Gulfshore Ballet will perform an excerpt from Tchaikovsky’s renowned Sleeping Beauty ballet specially choreographed by Gulfshore Ballet Artistic Directors (and former Miami City Ballet principal dancers) Iliana Lopez and Franklin Gamero, followed by Lily Hatchett’s Paper Grotto featuring her fabled TechnoDogs. Each visual artist and performance group in the show received an Arts & Culture Grant from the City in 2022 or 2023, or both grant cycles. The City of Fort Myers Arts & Culture Grant program is designed to support and foster the arts organizations and individual artists who contribute to the flourishing arts and culture scene that distinguishes the City.

Through intentional programming, we are expanding access to the arts for all who seek it. The Alliance for the Arts is a creative hub that spurs and supports self-expression, imagination, and equity. It is the place to gather, meet new people, start conversations, bring attention to, and, ultimately, solve the challenges our community faces.
