    SPRING BREAK ART RETREAT CAMP

    REGISTRATION NOW OPEN 
    Welcome to our Spring Break Art Retreat Camp designed just for your little creatives! This camp offers a variety of activities for kids ages 7-11, our mornings will sparkle with art journaling and meditation for focus and revitalization.

    Register online to embark on a journey of colorful self-discovery. Sign up for 1 or 2 days, or the full week. Extended care available for before care and afternoon care.

    Camp hours are 9:00AM – 4:00PM.

  • Art House Cinema presents Battleground-A Film Screening

    In the wake of Roe, 26 states stand poised to ban abortion, catalyzing unprecedented legal, medical and social upheaval. ‘Battleground’ is required viewing for anyone with a stake in the future of abortion in America.

    Join fellow film lovers for the exclusive screening of Battleground, part of the Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers in our Art House Cinema. Hang out after the screening for an intimate Q&A session with one of the directors/producers of the film and a surprise moderator from WGCU! Tickets are available on Eventbrite and $10 for Alliance members and $12 for non-members.

    StoryCorps is partnering with WGCU to record, preserve, and share the stories of Southwest Florida!

    February 15th-March 15th, 2024

    StoryCorps is committed to the idea that everyone has an important story to tell and that everyone’s story matters. Our mission: to help us believe in each other by illuminating the humanity and possibility in us all — one story at a time. Since our founding in 2003, we’ve helped nearly 700,000 people across the country have meaningful conversations about their lives. These recordings are collected in the U.S. Library of Congress and in our online archive which is now the largest single collection of human voices ever gathered.

    Opening Reception March 1, 5-7pm

    This annual show is the most anticipated of the year. As the name suggests, this exhibition features pieces created by artists working in a wide variety of media from all over the 65,000 square miles that make up Florida. The juried entries come together for an award-winning and exciting exhibition representing today’s contemporary Florida artists. The exhibition will be on display March 1 – 30, 2024.
