General Information
Vendors will be responsible for their own table, 6ft tables will be available to rent for $5 upon request. Vendors are responsible for their own tablecloths, displays, packaging materials, stands, easels, pedestals, chairs, signs, lights, etc.
Vendors are responsible for handling their own sales. It is recommended that vendors prepare a method to accept credit card payments. Vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting the Florida Sales Tax of 6.5% on eligible sales.
Set up and Break Down
Vendors must check in at the front desk. Vendors can begin setting up at 5:30pm and must be ready to sell promptly at 7:00pm.
Vendors will set up in assigned spaces.
Vendors are expected to stay open for the duration of the Night Market and not sell after the market closes. Break down begins at 10:00pm.
Vendors are responsible for supplying their own booth materials – chairs, etc.
Vendors are responsible for the collection and removal of all refuse generated from sales at their booth and the surrounding areas.
Consignment Terms
Artist represents, certifies and warranties that they are the maker of any and all Work(s) of fine art. Artist submits the following items for sale in the Alliance for the Arts’ event.
A booth fee of $25 must be paid by the vendor to the Alliance on or before the day of the market. Cash, card or check payments are accepted, make checks payable to the Alliance for the Arts. Returned check fee is $40.
The Alliance reserves the right to photograph booths, vendors and work. Photos taken by the Alliance for the Arts may be used in promotional materials now and in the future.
Risk of Loss or Damage
Vendors will be solely responsible for any loss or damage to a Work that occurs during shipment or delivery to and/or removal of sale items by the vendor from the event. The Alliance for the Arts and its employees will not be liable for any loss or damage to a Work.
Cancellations
In the event of inclement weather, the Alliance for the Arts may cancel the Night Market. Vendors will be notified of the cancellation by 3pm the day of the event. If weather conditions improve by 3pm, vendors will be notified that the event will proceed as scheduled.
