To Members, Volunteers, and Patrons of the Alliance for the Arts,
As of November 1st 2024, I will no longer act as the Membership & Community Outreach Organizer/Manager with the Alliance for the Arts. I was recently offered a position with a non-profit group named Project Help Inc.– that focuses in providing resources to those affected by rape, violence, crime, and those affected by sudden death due to a crime.
Since late 2020, I have been able to call the Alliance for the Arts a safe haven for artists, art-lovers, and everything in between. I was honored to be able to join the Alliance staff in 2022, to be welcomed into this bright community- and to have been able to be a small portion of elevating the voices of that same community.
Art has a way of connecting individuals from a multitude of backgrounds, and I am so thankful to have been able to connect with all of you in Fort Myers.
I can assure you that the next individual who will be a part of the Alliance’s staff in this position, will care about your input on how to continue to uplift SWFL arts.
It is with your help that we’ve been able to make the Alliance what it is today, and prove that Art is Essential to our community of SWFL. Please continue that sentiment, and consider volunteering with us for some of our upcoming exhibitions, education opportunities, and special event experiences to increase arts access in Lee County.
I promise I won’t be a stranger! Look forward to seeing me attending Alliance’s gallery exhibitions, and special events – and even volunteering alongside you all.
