Pour, Paint & Pour Some More Workshop (Ages 16+)

Pouring in all of its wondrous glory will be examined in this workshop using “Golden Fluid Acrylic Colors, “ “Golden High Flow” along with “Golden Color Pouring Medium Matte” and “Golden Color Pouring Medium Gloss”  We will paint surfaces and pour upon them creating gloss and matte resin like surfaces and also mix paints and mediums and pour onto surfaces creating rich and dynamic results that explode with a variety of colors and dazzling patterns.

This half day workshop will require a return to the venue the following day in order to pick up the exercises completed, once they’ve had an overnight to dry. Participants are welcome to take the work home the same day, but the vibrations and stop and go nature of vehicle transport may prove problematic in keeping the work intact given its propensity to slide around in a still liquid state.

All paints, substrates and pouring mediums will be supplied. Artists will need to bring a small paintbrush, some paper towels, and a small container for water. An apron is recommended. As always, raffle prizes and product give-aways are included with wealth of information and hopefully a few laughs. Suitable for all skill levels and taught in a completely non-intimidating manner, we’re making art here, not searching for the meaning of life or a good place to store one’s car keys. • 1 or 2 small palette knives
