Event details

Paste Paper is wonderfully messy and sophisticated finger painting, full of color, texture and pattern. Paste paste paper has been used for centuries to create decorative paper pretty enough for greeting cards, wrapping paper, collages and more. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty on the first Saturday.

Pamphlet Stitched Books are made with those Paste Papers and hand-sewn for journaling and sketching. Origami Star Lanterns glow when Paste Paper is lit from within by electric candles.

This class is for ages 12 and older.

First Saturday: Paste Paper (dress for mess)

Second Saturday: Pamphlet Stitch Book and Origami Star Lanterns

Supplies: Instructor will purchase and provide all necessary materials to participants. $10 supply fee to be paid directly to instructor at start of workshop.

This course is part of the Alliance for the Arts’ Summer Art Workshop series, which runs Saturdays from June to August and offers aspiring artists and families an opportunity to keep their creative juices flowing over the summer months with fun and enriching art workshops for the entire family.
