“Let’s build a happy little cloud.  Let’s build some happy little trees.”  – Bob Ross

Join Mathew Halstead, CRI of Lazy Painter Brushworks, for a classic Bob Ross painting workshop with friends at the Alliance.  Find freedom on a canvas as Mathew leads you from start to finish though creating a Mountain Lake Painting, “Grandeur of Summer.”  Students will take home a finished 16×20 painting.

ALL SUPPLIES and boxes for transport will be provided.  Come enjoy the Bob Ross philosophy of, “there are no mistakes, just happy accidents.”

Being on time is imperative so that the group can progress together.  This group progression is part of the workshop experience.  Please allow extra time for seasonal traffic.  Students arriving more than 15 minutes after the workshop start time will forfeit their seat and no refund will be issued.

From the Instructor:

Bob Ross was a painting legend and his style and techniques have brought joy to millions. As an independent instructor, I am certified through Bob Ross Inc. and I have a contract of tenets, but am not an employee of the company. What brought me to teaching Bob’s method was my love of teaching and sharing, in his words, the joy of painting.

Through that certification process I earned the right to carry on Bob’s tradition of teaching people to paint as he originally taught. The instructors are taught the curriculum he created with very specific classes and techniques. I learned to paint in his original painting classroom where he personally trained hundreds of instructors (Certified Ross Instructors, CRIs). The CRIs do not receive any remuneration from Bob Ross Inc.

Please note: this class is hosted onsite in our classroom. If you are joining us for onsite programming, we ask that you adhere to signage and procedures posted on our campus. Face masks are required at all times and you are advised to keep 6 feet (2 meters) between you and others.
