Event details

In this session you will draw from a professional nude model and explore the freedom of drawing without instruction. This class will offer students the possibility to implement the concepts learned in the instructed life drawing class.  Facilitator of the Sessions, Francesco Gillia will pose and light the model with students’ input. Easels are provided. Students will bring their own materials, charcoal pencils pastels are welcomed, no oil colors.

The format of the session will be:

one minute gestural poses

3-5 three minutes gestural poses

several fifteen-twenty minutes poses

Last hour one long pose with breaks every 20-30 minutes depending on pose and model.

No photos are allowed be taken in class, please do not ask permission to the model.  If a student has particular request for a pose she/he has to present that to Francesco before class start.
