Event details

Painting with watercolor and ink is an exciting experience.  Different from the traditional watercolor painting method, it combines basic watercolor painting techniques with traditional line and ink drawing methods to create unique and compelling paintings.  This combination, sometimes called line and wash, becomes a mixed media piece of art that adds detail that cannot be obtained from either method alone. Students will learn ink drawing techniques such as hatching, stippling, cross contour, random lines and washes.

(Optional) Materials fee if provided by the instructor: $35 Materials (except paper and paint) must be returned at the end of the workshop if supplied by the instructor.
