The Alliance for the Arts and the Fort Myers Cosplay Club is proud to announce the birth of Cosplay Con – a new kind of local convention that focuses on the fandoms that make up our town’s “nerd scene.” The event is Sunday, September 26, 2021 hosted at the Alliance for the Arts from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This convention is full of everything you look forward to at conventions, all in one event! Tabletop games, helpful demos and workshops, LARP sessions, cosplay mini shoots, informative panels from local experts in the field, cosplay contests for craftsmanship AND showmanship – and the list continues to grow!

Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance. Children under 10 are free. The Alliance has a ton of free parking onsite, but carpooling is better for the environment.

The Fort Myers Cosplay Club is a group of Southwest Florida residents that are passionate about escapist hobbies and interests. Cosplayers, DnD players, anime fans, LARPers, Potterheads, Disney nuts, gamers, comic book buffs, and other fandoms come together as one community in this 400-something member Facebook Group. As Fort Myers continues to host more Comic-Con and Con-esque events, the Club was inspired to invent the convention of our dreams. Please note: This event is hosted inside at the Alliance for the Arts. Face masks are requested at all times while inside the building and or when social distancing is not possible. Space is will be limited to maximize social distancing. You will be required to adhere to all posted signage and procedures while on the Alliance campus. This information is subject to change.
