Breaking Boundaries Collage: 2 Day Workshop (Ages 18+, Beginner-Pro)

Learn to layer and collage abstract landscapes or florals and “break” the edges of the frame – making them interesting and dynamic!

The class will start by creating a white or black painted background with acrylics on a 12 x 12 wood cradle board, and making papers by mono printing patterns. Next is a pencil sketch to help layout your composition. On our second day, with found and supplied papers we will
tear, cut, layer and collage. To finish we will add detail with paint, colored pencils, and metallic pens. This class includes demonstrations, classroom time and coaching.

Supplies needed:

• Scissors

• 20-30 sheets of copy paper (8 1/2 x 11)
