Beginning Watercolor (Ages 16+)

Learn beginning watercolor techniques, color theory, and basic drawing techniques using various materials to create paintings reflecting your unique self. Susan will teach how to use brushes, paint, and paper. Learn about Dry-on-Dry, Dry-on-Wet, and Wet-on-Wet techniques.

Supply List

• Paint: red, yellow, and blue (any you have)
• Blue – indigo, Antwerp blue, or ultramarine
• Yellow – gamboge or azo
• Red – permanent rose or alizarin
• Brushes
• Round #8 or haboku 6060S
• Flat or hake brush
• 140# watercolor paper
  
• Palette: paper plate or  ceramic plate
• Craft tape (to tape down VERY wet paper
• Water container
• Paper towels
