Salvatore Marici

Salvatore Marici’s poetry has appeared or forthcoming in Toasted Cheese, Descant, Spillway, Prairie Gold: An Anthology of the American Heartland, Of Burgers & Barrooms a Main Street Rag anthology) and many others. In 2010, Marici was the Midwest Writing Center Poet in Resident. He has two published broadsides (Midwest Writing Center and Alliance for the Arts). He has three books Mortals, Nature and their Spirits (chapbook), Swish Swirl & Sniff, and Fermentations (all Ice Cube Press). He teaches writing workshops at libraries, Writing Centers, and festivals of all sorts. He has performed his poetry in various venues from Art Museum, private clubs, libraries, breweries, and lounges.  In 2017 he was a featured poet at the Green Mill Lounge in Chicago. Marici served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala and he is a civil servant retiree as an agronomist.
