Patty O’Kane

Patty O’Kane is a lifelong central Illinois artist, a member of the Illinois Art League and the Fort Myers Beach Art Association. She has raised 6 children in the Dunlap/Princeville area and she opened ArtIsIn Studio so she can bring art accessibility to the community in which she lives.

She has spent many years studying art and perfecting her craft. You may have seen her art sold at the Framer’s Gallery on the Square in Washington, IL, featured in art shows, or on the internet. She has also been commissioned to create custom requests. She is a contributing artist to the Gertrude Kelley Hearts of Hope, MHAIV, which raises money for mental health community and numerous local charities. In addition to teaching in locally, she also teaches in Ft. Myers, Florida during the snowbird season.

She has extensive experience as an art instructor. She was an art consultant for the IVC School District 321 (South School, CEC, Mossville Elementary and Junior High)
having taught K-2 expository and 7 & 8 grade integrated art. She was the home school co-op art teacher and she taught art at Pearce Community Center. Through her
volunteer work as an art instructor, she was the recipient of the 2005 Volunteer of the Year Award.
