Joanna Coke

Joanna’s previous working careers have been as a graphic designer and fashion designer.  In her academic pursuits Joanna received an Associates in Arts from Harvard University along with two bachelor degrees from the University of South Florida; Bachelor of Science in Art Education and Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts, Painting.  She completed her art degrees at Louisiana State University with a Master of Fine Arts, Painting.  She studied art abroad in Paris in 2000 and in Venice, Rome and Florence in 2004.  In 2009 Joanna participated in a cross-cultural exhibit and workshop of American artists with Russian artists at the Novgorod.  In 2012 Joanna coordinated and instructed workshops in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and St. Augustine, Florida.  In 2015 she instructed a workshop in Tuscany, Italy.  And in November 2017 Joanna will conduct an art tour in Cuba.

Joanna established her fine arts studio in Nokomis, Florida in 2005 giving private lessons as well as teaching classes.  She recently exhibited her artworks in New Your, NY and Berlin, Germany and continues to participate in national juried shows.  Joanna also juries shows and demonstrates nationally at watercolor conventions throughout the U.S.
