Arts on Tap
Saturday
April 4, 6-10 p.m.
Arts on Tap is the Alliance for the Arts’ premier craft beer and music event. A must-attend event, Arts on Tap features a headliner performance by Florida Native, JJ Grey & Mofro. Born and bred in Florida, JJ Grey plays music that mixes raw rural blues with tough, swampy Southern rock, generating a sound that has a loose, natural feel while maintaining a potent edge. JJ Grey’s songs draw deep on his heritage as well as his clear-eyed perspective on the world around him. You’ll feel amazing listening to JJ Grey and even better knowing that proceeds from this event fund the Alliance’s programs, which ensure access to the arts throughout the year.
The opening band at Arts on Tap will be the Honey Hounds, known for their stage presence and tight musicianship, delivering a performance that builds from gritty, soulful blues to infectious, dance-driven rock, keeping audiences fully engaged from start to finish. Honey Hounds have shared stages with artists including Portugal The Man, Tank & The Bangas, Moon Taxi, One Republic, and Cimafunk. Festival appearances include Suwannee Hulaween (Mainstage), Summerfest, Stadium of Fire, Reggae Rise Up, SXSW, Florida Fin Fest, Florida Groves Fest, and Honey Island Music Fest, where they also served as curators.
The reimagined Arts on Tap offers two distinct guest experiences. For VIP’s, we harken back to the first days of Arts on Tap by featuring local craft beer tastings and lite bites from area restaurants. VIPs will enjoy the food and drinks under the twinkling lights on our Green Market Lawn. The second half of the evening welcomes a performance by Florida’s favorite JJ Grey. The VIP experience includes up close seating, a full cash bar with complimentary beer, a community art project with Zan Lombardo, a photo booth, cigar lounge, indoor restrooms, and a commemorative tasting glass. VIP SOLD OUT.
General admission ticket holders include a cash bar with a wide selection of craft & domestic beer, food trucks and open lawn seating.
