The course begins with inspiration and demonstration, inviting reflection and gentle planning as you design your own evolving color wheel. Each session, you’ll fall deeper into a single hue—discovering its moods through value, saturation, and its relationships with neighboring and opposing colors.

Through Zan’s thoughtful demonstrations and personalized guidance, you’ll learn to see color as both science and poetry. By the final session, your unique color wheel will emerge—an intimate portrait of your creative eye and an enduring tool for every painting to come.

• 6 sheets of watercolor paper 9″x12″ or 2 sheets of 18″x24″
• Watercolors of any type: tubes, pans, watercolor pencils and/or water soluble chalks
• Watercolor brushes of any type: size 1 to size 6
• Pencil for outline drawing and taking notes
• Container for water
• Markers, colored pencils, or whatever other colorful media you desire (optional)
