Event details

In this series, designed specifically for students in grades 5th-9th, Instructor Tiani Rosado will lead students through various process art projects. The beautiful art piece students create will merely be a byproduct of exploration and experimentation. Students will work on pieces with multiple steps and focus on the making of the art as well as learning to use new tools and techniques.

Aluminum Foil Art : students will be given a firm board and will be able to draw something of their liking. Students will glue yarn over every line they created with their pencil, leaving them with a raised ‘outline’. Then, students will carefully glue and cover the entire board with heavy duty aluminum foil. I will teach them to wrap it carefully and how to “smooth” it out over their design. They will now have a raised aluminum piece of their drawing. They can use sharpies to color portions of their drawing in.

All supplies provided for this class
