Painting with Terry Lynn – FREE Online Try It! (Ages 16+)

Join local artist Terry Lynn Spry for a FREE virtual art class Try It and learn more about painting the wonderful color of green! Terry Lynn will show you how to mix the best greens and the difference between cool and warm shades.  She will also provide a short demo on paint application.  Find something in your house that is green and get ready to paint!

This class is free to attend, but an RSVP is required. Try It class size limit is 20. This class will be hosted through Zoom.

Lesson Structure:

• Introductions and Zoom directions (5 minutes)
• Color mixing instruction
• Paint application demo
• Q & A (last 15 minutes)

Supply List:

• • Small canvas or canvas paper or mixed media paper or even cardboard (just paint it white)

• • Paint: acrylic or oil or watercolor
    Thalo blue
    Ultramarine blue
    Cadmium yellow light
    Cadmium red
    Alizarin crimson
    White
    If you don’t have these colors it’s OK, just have your blues and yellows and reds ready to use.
  • Brushes: Small – whatever you have
  • Find something in your house that’s green!

Zoom – you can download Zoom for free HERE.  If you already have a Zoom account then there is no need to re-download.  Students will receive a link to the zoom room on Monday, April 27 and be admitted into the room just prior to the Try It on Tuesday, April 28.
