Tribal Belly Dance (ages 16+)

Tribal Bellydance is an exciting community oriented style—a fusion of urban, folk, and ritual dances—a contemporary blend of the folkloric, nomadic, and classical dances of the Middle East, Spain, India, Egypt. It is aesthetically pleasing, spiritually grounding, physically rewarding—a shared celebration of women.

This series will focus on some of the basic slow and fast moves in the Gypsy Caravan Tribal Bellydance® format, as well as learning to dance together improvisationally with our Tribe, with certified instructor Sherry Coffey. This class is intended for continuing and Intermediate dancers who have completed Beginning Belly Dance in any style.
