Tips & Tricks to Photographing Your Artwork – Online Workshop (Ages 14+)

Learn how to take high quality digital images of your artwork for applying to exhibitions, building a website, or creating an online portfolio.  Students will be guided through an instructor-led demonstration of practical techniques from how to set up backdrops and have adequate lighting to saving and organizing your images with minimal editing!  Join us for this fun and simple workshop to get you on your way to taking better photos of your work right away!

Supply list:

• Phone or digital camera
• Note taking materials
• Computer (desktop or laptop) OPTIONAL
• Zoom app or program downloaded on your device. (While phones and tablets work, we recommend using a desktop or laptop so you can view the instructor in the largest screen possible.

Please note: this interactive and hands-on class is hosted online, which means you get to enjoy it from the comfort of your living room, studio or kitchen table! It will be hosted via Zoom. If you’ve never used zoom before, we suggest you take some time to familiarize yourself with the platform ahead of time and download the app. You can find everything you’ll need at Zoom.us or in the App store on your phone or tablet. An access link will be provided prior to the start of class.
