Landscapes: Painting with Thread (Ages 14+) – Onsite Workshop

Shape and spawn a 3D mini-landscape from embossing imported paper, painting a landscape with watercolors, and stitching portions of the project – a truly unique way to create! This class is suitable for ages 14 or older and attendees must be able to thread a needle and hand stitch.

Supplies: There is a $20 supply fee to be paid directly to the instructor and includes 12 skeins DMC embroidery thread, needle, watercolor set, 2 small brushes, 31/2” wood square, 3+ 5”x 5” sheets imported paper.

This course is part of the Alliance for the Arts’ Summer Art Workshop series, which runs Saturdays from June to August and offers aspiring artists and families an opportunity to keep their creative juices flowing over the summer months with fun and enriching art workshops for the entire family.
