Music is the most abstract of all art forms: you can’t see music, touch it, or smell it, but it can shape the emotion of the listener. This weekly workshop transfers the emotions of the listener into painting.
Beginners in art often have anxieties about making things look “real”, in this workshop participants are blindfolded for the first 30 minutes, creating their real vision of the music, from within. After those 30 mins the blindfolds are removed and the painter can play upon their own visual tunes- full of color, rhythm and beauty from the soul.
Students of all levels are invited to paint the color of music.
