Are your walls crowded with once-loved art? Have art that doesn’t go with your living room redecoration? We want it! Let us help you un-funk your walls and give your art a second chance at life.
Join us for an exclusive 3 day pop-up exhibition of unwanted art. Our collection awaits your discerning eye! This white-elephant-style sale will help you cycle out art that no longer fits your aesthetic, purchase new art and support the Alliance as 100% of proceeds go right back into our community and the Alliance’s mission to transform lives and improve our community through the arts.
The event will open with a tacky holiday reception judged and hosted by Marc Collins and Stephanie Davis on Thursday, December, 2 from 5 – 7 p.m. Tickets are $10. Get first dibs and enjoy the camaraderie as well as light refreshments.
The exhibition will remain up through Saturday, December 4, coinciding with our annual Arts and Ends Holiday Sale. All sales are “cash and carry,” meaning purchasers will get to take the piece with them when they buy it, instead of waiting until the end of the exhibit.
For those interested in entering art:
Please drop off your art on Monday, November 29 between 9 a.m and 5 p.m. A $10 entry fee will apply, and you will receive (1) ticket to the Thursday reception. Art should be priced to sell at a flat price of either $25, $50, $75, or $100. All money generated from sales will benefit the Alliance for the Arts. During the reception on December 2, Marc Collins and Stephanie Davis will award one piece with the “Crowning Jewel” award along with a free membership to the Alliance for the Arts. Art that does not sell should be picked up on Monday, December 6 before 5 p.m.
