Mixed Media Portraits with Terry Lynn (Ages 16+) Beginner-Advanced

In this workshop the instructor will teach students fundamentals of portraits. Then students will break out all their art matches and create an expressive paintings of their favorite people, in any style they choose. Students are encouraged to try different methods from collage to layering in different mediums. For the beginners in mix media this is an excellent place to experiment in a fun and relaxing environment.

Supplies:
Canvas (3) 11×14 or bigger
Modge podge
Newspaper, magazine, cardboard, tissue paper, string {Any of these or more)
Photos of faces printed out on paper 8×10
Markers permanent variety of color
Pastels any kind
White chalk
Charcoal
Gesso small bottle
Brushes variety of sizes
1 inch brush or bigger
Pallet knife
Paper plates or pallet
Acrylic paint (heavy body or in the tube)variety of colors.
Paper or sketch book
Pencils #2
Any other mediums students would like to use
Workable fixatives optional

There will be a break for lunch on your own (sack lunches encouraged)
