Larger Than Life Watercolors (Ages 18+)

Loosen up and allow the medium to express life for you by working large in watercolor. Zan will help you fall in love with blooms and show you how to treat each shape in a large work as a composition in and of itself.

Supply List:

• Watercolors in tubes or pans (red/orange/yellow/green/blue/violet/paynes gray),
• 9″x12″ white mixing palette
• Watercolor round brushes sizes 4, 6, 8, 16 and a watercolor flat brush 1″-2″, 140 lb.
• hot or cold press watercolor paper in sheets or roll
• masking fluid
• water container
• pencil

For those who may ask for more specifics, Zan uses tube watercolor and prefers Winsor & Newton brand in these colors–Winsor red, Winsor orange, Lemon yellow, Winsor green, Winsor blue, Dioxazine purple, Paynes gray–Harmony Squirrel Quill brushes from Creative Mark, and Arches 140 lb. hot or cold press watercolor paper.

Please note: this class is hosted onsite in our classroom. If you are joining us for onsite programming, we ask that you adhere to signage and procedures posted on our campus. Face masks are required at all times and you are advised to keep 6 feet (2 meters) between you and others.
