Event details
Discover how to turn simple scenes into compelling landscapes in this relaxing, skill-building class. We’ll explore the essentials of composition and basic perspective—two foundations that bring depth and believability to your artwork—while strengthening your drawing skills no matter your starting level.
You’ll learn how to choose, adjust, and interpret reference photos; how to work with materials that enhance your creative process; and how to apply those tools to both drawing and painting mediums. Along the way, we’ll look to artists like Edward Hopper and Andrew Wyeth for inspiration, studying how they use structure, mood, and detail to create unforgettable landscapes.
Whether you’re a beginner or a returning artist, you’ll leave with new confidence, refined techniques, and your own expressive landscape creations. Come relax, learn, and make art in a friendly, supportive environment!
