Landscape Painting from a Photo- Beginner to Intermediate

Join Instructor Pat Smelkoff as she guides you through the process of painting from a photograph. Using acrylic paint on a 11″x 14″ canvas you will paint a beautiful landscape from your own photo. You’ll learn how to create and apply a pattern from an enlarged photocopy, and then explore shadows, highlights and color choices.

In the first class you will bring in 3 photos to review with Pat. For the second class, you’ll bring an enlarged black and white photocopy of the chosen photo, plus a color copy. All details will be explained in the first class. The first class will be shorter and you will not be using paints at that time.

All other supplies will be provided by the Instructor
