Modern – Intermediate Acrylic Painting (Ages 16+)

Join artist and instructor Leo Johnson for your next step into painting with acrylic paints.  In each class Leo will help students advance in their painting skills by expanding upon the basics of acrylic painting including mixing colors, using brushes, use of the palette knife, and many other techniques.  If you have begun your journey into acrylic painting and want to go farther, this class is for you!

Supply list:

• 3 Canvases – 16×20”
• Set of acrylic paints
• 10 – 15 piece paint brush set (a mix of sizes including detail/small brushes
• (2) standard drawing pencils
• Gum eraser
• Gel Medium
• Palette or paper plates
• Palette knife

No class Dec. 24 or Dec. 31.  Still 6 classes.
