Fridays with Francesco: Painting with a Limited Palette (Ages 18+)

In this class with Francesco the students will focus on working with a limited palette. A limited color palette makes you think a little harder, it is a fun challenge that will make you learn a lot about color mixing and color theory.
The bonus is that fewer colors means less chance for mistakes. The result of this class is that the students will get rid of frustration and confusion that
comes with color mixing.

Supply list:
* Palette to mix colors
* 3 Canvas boards: 9×12” or comparable size
* Odorless mineral spirits and a sealed container (for oil colors only)
* Oil Colors or Golden OPEN Acrylics (slow drying) in the following colors
* Titanium White
* Ivory Black or Carbon Black
* Cadmium Red
* Cadmium Yellow
* 3 interlocking Hog Bristle Round brushes – size 1, 2 & 3
* Acrylic medium golden open thinner
* Whatever other brushes you have (lbert, at, fan)
* Paper towel

There will be a 1/2 hour lunch break
