On the first day of this 2 class series, you will create a beautiful landscape painting using Golden Fluid paints, Amsterdam medium body paints, and TLP pigments. We will learn how to mix different density paints to the perfect consistency for your landscape. Choose the perfect color palette. Multiple techniques will be used e.g. swiping (learn how to use that paper towel as your paint brush), flip cup your sky for the perfect cloud formations, and ribbon pours for your ocean.
On the second day, bring your artwork from day one or bring another piece from home. We’ll make it better as well as learn how to fix some possible imperfections. We will be practicing Sea Grass’ and adding shadows. You can also use molding paste to add a textured beach. Maybe you’d like to add a sun on that horizon line or some seagulls floating in your sky. What about an island along the horizon line? We will be playing with textured fabrics, glazes, gel gloss medium and so much more.
