Fluid Art: Dutch/Blow Out Workshop

Experience the captivating fusion of motion and pigment in this expressive workshop where paint dances on the canvas – guided only by air. Using the gentle force of a hairdryer, you’ll explore how fluid paint flows, mingles, and transforms into luminous, organic forms.

Through hands-on demonstrations, you’ll learn to mix paints to the ideal consistency, master controlled air techniques, and design balanced, intentional compositions that celebrate spontaneity and color. You’ll also discover how to create the mesmerizing cells that define the beauty of fluid art. By the end of class, you’ll complete 4–6 original works alive with energy and movement.

Please Bring:

• A travel hairdryer with a nozzle (concentrator) attachment – travel dryers are ideal.

• An extension cord

• 3–4 XL pizza boxes to safely carry home your wet paintings.

All other materials are provided for a $75 Supply Fee (payable to the instructor via cash, check, Zelle, or Venmo)
