Event details

Why are flowers so popular to paint? Because there are so many varieties of flowers in an abundant array of colors, shapes, and sizes AND they frequently symbolize something special to us. Painting florals is a satisfying expression of our inner feelings and emotions. This workshop will focus on selecting appropriate backgrounds for a variety of floral compositions, proper placement of the focal point, producing textural effects and color mixing. There will be Instructor demonstrations, with ample time for individual hands-on practice before completing a radiant floral painting. Participants may bring their own reference photo OR paint from instructor provided images.
