Drawing Flowers – Onsite Class

Drawing realistic flowers is class for all levels. In class we will be working from live flowers, artificial flowers and photo reference. Will be using different mediums charcoal, pen and ink and colored pencil. Instructor will give students lessons each class and occasionally homework. Breaking down forms so students can really grasp proportions and texture. Taking inspiration from Georgia O’Keefe and in effect will be improving drawing skills in a fun and easy going environment.

Supply list:

• #2 pencil
• Charcoal soft
• Micro pens or sharpie fine point
• 24 color pencils (crayola or other brands ok)
• Eraser, ruler
• Printer paper
• Mix media paper 8×11 or bigger

Please note: this class is hosted onsite in our classroom. If you are joining us for onsite programming, we ask that you adhere to signage and procedures posted on our campus. Face masks are required at all times and you are advised to keep 6 feet (2 meters) between you and others.
