Decoupage Collage (6-11 w/ Adult or 12+)

Participants can let their inner artist run free during this fun and inspirational mixed medium collage art class. Designer Amy Genzlinger will help participants create inspired designs and eye-catching layouts using colorful patterned paper, cutouts, quotes, buttons and string. Students will be taught techniques to incorporate favorite photos, images, and sayings, with beautifully matted backgrounds for stunning results.

Each participant is given a 12×12” stretched canvas and will select from a huge variety of patterned paper, images, sayings quotes, buttons, and string. They are guided step by step on how to select and assemble their collage. Participants can make their collage as simple or intricate as they want. There is no judgement and no comparisons. Each project is completely individual and unique. At the end of the class each participant will leave with a beautiful piece of art that expresses their personality and imagination. All supplies are included but feel free to bring personal photos, images, sayings, etc.  Bring the entire family!
