Create Your Own Lei: A Hands-On Art Experience

Celebrate creativity, culture, and color in this joyful class where participants will design and create their own handmade lei. Using a variety of materials, such as fresh or silk flowers and natural elements, students will learn simple techniques for stringing, knotting, and arranging while exploring the tradition and meaning of leis as symbols of welcome, celebration, and connection.

This relaxed, multi-generational class is perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike. Participants are encouraged to express their personal style, work at their own pace, and enjoy the process of creating something beautiful by hand. Whether you’re making a lei to wear, to gift, or simply for fun, this class offers a creative experience that’s as meaningful as it is memorable.

All materials are provided for a $10 fee due directly to the Instructor at the beginning of class.

Children (ages 10+) are welcome with an adult. No prior experience necessary – just bring your creativity and a spirit of aloha.
