Event details
Assemblage Art, which was introduced by the Surrealists, is about creating a sculpture through miscellaneous objects glued together. Such things as wire, wood, plastic, fabric and paper affixed together can reflect the human condition and the poetic vision of its creator.
This studio class will not only provide technical direction on how to build an assemblage, but will help put this particular form of sculpture into historical perspective.
