Classical Painting AM – Onsite Class

Join long-time instructor and painter, Terry Lynn Spry, for her weekly fine art painting classes designed for the novice to the professional. Students are encouraged to work at their own level, and with their subject and medium of choice. In this class, you can expect to learn more about the spectrum of painting from realism to abstract, as well as, studies in portraiture, color control, compositions, value study and drawing.

Paints:

• Alizarin crimson
• Cadmium red
• Cadmium yellow light
• Pthalo Blue
• Ultramarine blue
• Ivory black
• Titanium white

Brushes:

• Filberts sizes 2, 4, 6, 8
• Soft synthetic brushes
• Few bristle brushes (larger sizes)
• Palette knife

Miscellaneous:

• Paper towels
• Container for water (acrylics)
• Sealed container for mineral spirits (oils)
• 9×12 canvas paper pad
• Palette paper or freezer paper or paper plates

Please note: this class is hosted onsite in our classroom. If you are joining us for onsite programming, we ask that you adhere to signage and procedures posted on our campus.
