Beading – Polymer Bead Making (Ages 14+)

Did you ever dream of making your own necklace, in your own favorite colors, made to your own taste, with beads you made yourself?  Would you like to give a special friend a unique, one-of-a-kind gift that you made yourself?  Give someone, even yourself, the gift of art this holiday season!

In this 2 weeks beginner class, you will learn the basics of making handmade polymer beads employing the ancient Italian art of the Millefiori Cane technique.  After the first class of having fun with canes, colors and rolling beads, we will resume class a second time to get down to the grit of jewelry business, (my original profession) and I will teach you how to string a necklace.  Here I will share with you how I used to earn my allowance as a child in the family jewelry store.  Knotting beads the old fashion QUALITY way is a task you will be happy to know for any string of valuable beads and pearls you already have at home.

Supply list: $25 supply fee to be paid directly to the instructor.  For this fee all materials will be provided.
