Event details
ArtPlay: Dance classes are designed to engage children with autism spectrum disorder in movement and music. In these classes students can gain confidence, build social skills, increase self-expression, and have fun! This class is run in partnership with Family Initiative Inc. and for ages 8 – 21.
Supply list: None. Wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes.
Students must:
-Respond to verbal direction
-Independently toilet
-Not require 1 on 1 supervision
Please note: this class is hosted outside on our ArtsPark amphitheatre stage to allow for social distancing. Masks are required to enter the building or when students are unable to social distance. In the case of inclement weather students will be brought into the theatre.
