Three Song Stories is an exploration of the power music has to connect us to times, places, people, and emotions from our lives. The show brings out each guests’ personalities and personal histories, by mining the connections music has made during their lifetimes.

Guests of the show are asked to pick three songs to listen to during the recording, and then they tell the story the songs bring them back to. Song choices have been all over the spectrum: rock, classical, country, electronic, gospel, opera and more.

Our very own Terry Tincher will be in the guest chair.

About Terry Tincher:
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Terry came to Lee County Florida to expand his small construction company in 1982. Growing this company to be a large employer here in Southwest Florida from Tampa to the Keys, he retired in 2003. He has been married to his wife, Mimi for 45 years and has three grown children.

Terry has been recognized as a leader in the arts community, involved in almost every aspect of the arts: music, theater, gallery owner, and artist. He’s also been involved in the bar and restaurant business and is an all-around great human. He now works as a consultant to the Alliance for the Arts and represents several national and regional artists.

Three Song Stories was created by WGCU’s Mike Kiniry, Richard Chin Quee, and Tara Calligan in February 2018. It features people sharing their life stories through the lens of three songs that have become connected to their memories. Laughter, tears and reminiscing about life and music are hallmarks of the show.
