Menu David Monagas is a local theatre artist, first coming to Lee county in 1996. Born and raised in Upstate NY, David has always has an interest in the performing arts, beginning his training in classical singing, he shifted to theatre in college when the opportunity presented itself. David received his undergraduate degree from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) and then later on his Masters in Fine Arts (MFA) in acting from DePaul University.
Having worked in the theatre instudusty as both an artist, and a teacher, for the past 20 years, David is excited to be a part of the Alliance for the Arts as their Technical Director.
Currently, David is an Adjunct Professor at FGCU and runs a boutique photography business in Downtown Fort Myers.
