Ashley Eichbauer Newman

Ashley Eichbauer Newman is a dancer, choreographer, and educator. In 2007, she was a founding dancer of The Chase Brock Experience and currently serves as the company’s Director of Education & Engagement. Performance credits include The Joyce Theater, The 92nd Street Y, Baruch Performing Arts Center, Abrons Arts Center, La Mama, Paper Mill Playhouse, Pittsburgh CLO, Baltimore Center Stage, Broadway Palm, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and So You Think You Can Dance. Ashley is featured in the documentary, Chasing Dance. She has choreographed at Temple University, Barnard College, Marymount Manhattan College, and Molloy College. Ashley was Associate Choreographer on Disney’s Hercules at The Public Theater and Assistant Choreographer for the video game Dance on Broadway for Wii & PlayStation Move. Since 2006, Ashley has been on the faculty of CAP21 musical theater conservatory, teaching students from NYU and Molloy College. Ashley is a Teaching Artist for Lincoln Center Education and a Curriculum Specialist at The Juilliard School for their K-12 Programs. She is a graduate with honors from NYU with a B.F.A. in Theatre with a double major in History and she earned her M.S. Ed. in Middle School General and Special Education from Bank Street College. Ashley is a RYT-200 vinyasa yoga teacher and certified in Zena Rommett Floor-Barre. She resides in New Jersey with her awesome husband, Joel, her incredible son, Oliver, and sweet pup, Chloe, but she and her family are in SWFL for a few months visiting her parents and old stomping grounds!
