Ella Materska Ellis is a Polish born artist who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, receiving a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts and Interior Architecture. She has won numerous awards and has had many one woman shows as well as gallery and group exhibits throughout the world.
Ella’s recent paintings begin with “flowing rivers of color” completed with final touches to accentuate the depth of the piece and the thoughts she’d like to convey. Ella explores the unexplored, visible and invisible… as well as relations between multi-dimensional realities. Her current works reveal her fascination with the origin of existence and her view of the intriguing connection between the vastness of the Universe and the most minute particles of subatomic energy. Colors and directions appear to explode across her canvases revealing underlying messages of joy, gratitude, compassion and spiritual vitality.
