Deck the Halls

Deck the Halls is an alternative holiday exhibition which encourages appreciation for all holidays of the season!  Artists are asked to create works of art and installation proposals that utilize holiday decorations in unique ways, re-use, re-purpose, or re-imagine the use of traditional decorations and envision an immersive installation experience to celebrate the season.  Artwork that utilizes alternative media is encouraged as well as installation and video based works.  The curation of this exhibition will feature colored gallery lighting, decorative lights, and other typical decorations that “deck the halls” of the gallery in innovative ways!

Entry Fees: 

For Alliance for the Arts Members: $20 for 1 entry, $35 for 2 or 3 entries

For non-members: $25 for 1 entry, $45 for 2 or 3 entries

Awards: $250 for Best in Show, $125 for 2nd Place, $75 for 3rd Place

Online Submission Deadline: November 15, Midnight
Jury Notification: Friday, November 19
On Display: December 10, 2020 – December 30, 2021
Artwork Drop Off: Monday, December 6, 9am-5pm
Opening Reception: Friday, December 10, 6-7pm
Artwork Pickup: Monday, January 3, 9am-5pm

Off the Walls

Coinciding with the onset of the holiday shopping season, this gallery show features artworks of all mediums priced at $200 or less. All sales are “cash and carry,” meaning purchasers will get to take the piece with them when they buy it, instead of waiting until the end of the exhibit. If you are an Alliance member, consider submitting two (2) original 2D or 3D artworks for exhibit in the gallery. All works must be for sale and priced $200 or under.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. during our weekly farmer’s market.
