Event details

This workshop will help those who know basic stitches and have done embroidery kits to create their own embroidery design this time!

Using hoops we can either sketch the drawing first on their embroidery sheet or bring in clothing to do free hand embroidery on. Instructor/Artists, Case Scott will help you with ideas, and challenges you have related to sketching and give guidance on stitch choices.

Supplies needed: 

  • one large 10′ inch hoop
  • 6 or 8′ inch hoop
  • plain sheets of embroidery paper for the stitch practice
  • embroidery kit of choice (must come with a hoop and three designs)
  • embroidery floss in colors of your choice
  • embroidery needles
  • scissors
