Menu The Alliance for the Arts GreenMarket is excited to partner with Coastal Dayz Brewery on the second Saturday of every month to offer free beer samples. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to meet the brewers and learn about the ancient art of creating beers and ales from scratch.
Beginning Saturday, Feb. 9 at 10:30 a.m. Coastal Dayz will offer a selection of their more than a dozen varieties of handcrafted ales to the public for free tastings. Don’t miss it if names like No Mo Sno Imperial Stout or Portside Pale Ale pique your curiosity.
Coastal Dayz Brewery is a craft micro-brewery located in downtown Fort Myers. Their coastal-themed brewery is a relaxing, breezy, comfortable place to gather with old friends and meet new ones! With 16 taps, they’ve got our staples like Bimini Blonde and Pirate’s Porter, and regularly feature a few specialty and guest taps also.
“That’s what the GreenMarket is all about: offering a fun, interesting Saturday morning to all visitors,” says organic farmer and Greenmarket Manager Santiago de Choch. “It’s not just about supporting a community garden or a local beekeeper. The market is about learning how things are grown and made, the joys and challenges, the fantastic variety of food one finds once he or she steps out of the mainstream and becomes curious about what the area has to offer, from pickled mangoes to duck eggs.”
