Dear Alliance Members and Patrons,

It gives me great pleasure to introduce the Alliance for the Arts 2011/2012 Season Program. From the streets of Fort Myers to the sandy beaches of Sanibel, visitors and residents alike can experience the variety of Lee County's cultural community. Whether one is looking for visual arts, film, music, dance, theater or museums, Lee County has it all.

The Alliance for the Arts, your local arts agency, is designed to connect you, the culturally adventurous, with Lee County's arts community and to provide you with year-round access to arts programming, exhibits and events. We offer dynamic, comprehensive, educational opportunities suited for the novice to advanced learners and a broad spectrum of fun and entertaining programming to develop artistic interests and abilities in everyone.

In addition to a myriad of arts related activities and events, 2012 will mark the completion of the Americans for the Arts' National Arts & Economic Prosperity IV Impact Study. As a result, the Alliance will join a nation-wide marketing campaign to demonstrate the impact of arts and culture on our communities. With your help, we can demonstrate that individuals, artists and the creative sector are important to our economy.

Join us for an upcoming event and we will be sure to inspire, educate and evoke a passion for the arts. Become a member, volunteer, student or patron and join us as we strengthen our community through the arts.
