Painting Studio - May 8th
6-7 Tuesdays, 6:30-9:00PM

Price: $90 members / $110 non-members
Novices through advanced students are invited to this oil, acrylic and pastel painting studio. Students may start with drawing color class or begin with their own individual projects. Fun & relaxed environment. Please ask for supply list.
Classical Life Drawing - May 11th
Live Model Studio
4 Fridays, 9:30AM-NOON
Instructor: Live Model Studio
Price: $55 members / $65 non-members
Join us in our open life drawing session. Live model in a
classical studio setting. Sessions are non-instructed.
Advance pre-registration is
recommended. All mediums
welcome! Uninstructed.
Explorations in Clay - May 12th
5 Saturdays, 11:00AM-1:00PM
Instructor: David Hammel
Price: $125 members / $140 non-members
Learn secrets to creating stunning vessels & clay sculptures.
All skill levels are welcome.
Emphasis will be placed
on construction, surface decoration and glazing. Students
will have the opportunity to
create several projects. Tool
kits available for $19.
Arashi Shibori: Fabric Dyeing Workshop
Saturday, May 26th, 10 am - 4 pm

Arashi Shibori dye workshop presents the ancient Japanese technique of tightly binding cloth to a pole to resist dye, resulting in a pleated cloth with designs on an angle like driving rain. "Arashi" is the Japanese word for rain. Participants should bring several yards of cotton, silk or rayon fabric, washed, ready for dyeing. Cloth may be cut into "fat quarters" or approximately 18" x 22" or slightly larger. Fabric produced may be used for clothing, quilting, wall hangings, etc. Silk scarves will be available for purchase.
